Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House is a genuine Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams property, but pilgrims should not assume they can select it by name during a normal online room booking. Current TTD accommodation pages confirm the guest house historically, yet the present public tariff list and July 2026 sub-enquiry system do not list Sannidhanam as a standard selectable room category. That difference matters because several older guides still present a fixed tariff and a direct booking route as if both were current.

Prayanamam is an independent pilgrim information guide. We are not affiliated with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), and we do not accept room bookings, payments, donations, or personal documents. Use only the official TTD booking portal and TTD counters for accommodation.
Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House at a Glance
Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House was inaugurated by TTD in June 2009 as a premium guest-house complex in the HVC area of Tirumala. TTD’s own announcement described 48 deluxe flats or suites arranged across four blocks, with each flat containing three bedrooms. The building itself is therefore not in doubt.
| Detail | What is verified now | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Property | TTD guest house in Tirumala | Use TTD channels only |
| Direct online selection by name | Not confirmed on current public TTD pages | Book available TTD accommodation |
| Current Sannidhanam tariff | No current public tariff found on TTD’s live list | Confirm only inside TTD system or at TTD counter |
| Walk-in allotment | TTD now starts current-booking registration at CRO | Register at CRO from 5:00 a.m. while rooms remain |
| Room duration | 24 hours | Vacate on time to avoid enhanced tariff |
The most useful takeaway is simple. A room booking through TTD does not always mean you can demand a particular guest-house building. Instead, availability, room category and the allotment system decide what you receive.
Can You Book Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House Online?
You should not treat Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House as a guaranteed, name-selectable online property unless it appears inside the official TTD booking flow for your date. TTD’s current accommodation hub sends pilgrims to its official portal for advance reservations. However, the public rest-house tariff page does not presently list Sannidhanam among the standard published properties.
This corrects an important weakness in many older pages. They often say you can book “Sannidhanam” online, then collect that exact room at Tirumala. The official sources do not support that promise today. Therefore, book the room category actually shown in your TTD account and follow the allotment details you receive.
For a wider explanation of the official system, see our Tirumala room booking online guide. It covers advance booking, account checks and what to do when the calendar shows no quota.
What happens after an advance TTD accommodation booking?
An advance reservation confirms the accommodation product shown in your TTD account, but the final reporting process still matters. Keep the official receipt, the registered mobile number and the original ID used for the booking. Then follow the reporting location and instructions shown by TTD rather than relying on a third-party guest-house page.
Do not pay anyone who claims they can “upgrade” your booking into Sannidhanam through WhatsApp or a private UPI number. TTD issued fresh warnings in July and August 2026 about fake websites, social-media pages and middlemen collecting money for darshan and accommodation.
Current Walk-In Room Allotment at Tirumala
TTD changed the current-booking process in July 2026. Pilgrims seeking a room on arrival must first register at the Central Reception Office (CRO) in Tirumala. The CRO opens at 5:00 a.m., and registration continues while rooms remain available.
- Reach the CRO and join the accommodation registration queue.
- Carry your original Aadhaar card or a photocopy, plus your mobile number.
- Complete face-recognition registration at the counter.
- Select the room category offered through the current-booking system.
- Collect the acknowledgement slip and watch the CRO display board.
- Wait for the SMS with the allotted room and sub-enquiry office.
- If the SMS does not arrive, scan the slip at a CRO kiosk.
- Go to the named sub-enquiry office, pay electronically, and collect the key.
TTD’s July 2026 notice listed ₹50 and ₹100 rooms under one category and ₹1,000 rooms under another for the CRO process. That notice did not list Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House as a separate category. So a walk-in applicant should not stand in line expecting that specific building.
Who can receive a current-booking room?
TTD’s July 2026 instructions say the applicant must be at least 21 years old. Only one member from a family should stand in the queue, and a person who receives a room cannot obtain another room for the next 30 days. TTD also states that rooms are not allotted to single individuals or unmarried persons under this current-booking process.
These rules can change, so check the official TTD accommodation page before travel. If you need a same-day room, our TTD Tirumala rooms allotment guide explains the CRO display, SMS and kiosk system in more detail.
Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House Tariff: What Is Actually Verified?
The current public TTD tariff page does not publish a live tariff for Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House. An older TTD board document from the property’s launch period discussed a proposed tariff of ₹3,000 per suite and ₹9,000 for a full three-suite flat. Those figures are historical and should not be presented as today’s booking rate.
This is where the old version of this post needed the biggest correction. It quoted about ₹6,000 per day as though that were the current standard room price. That figure is not supported by TTD’s present public tariff list. In fact, the current list shows ₹6,000 beside Srinikethan A/C, which is a different property.
For that reason, do not transfer a price from one TTD rest house to another. Check the amount shown in your official booking account or the TTD allotment counter before paying. TTD’s rest houses and tariffs page is the best public reference for listed properties.
How Long Can You Keep a TTD Room?
TTD says Tirumala accommodation is allotted for 24 hours. In its July 2026 accommodation notice, TTD also stated that exceeding 24 hours can raise the tariff to 200%, while a stay beyond 48 hours can raise it to 400%. Therefore, do not plan around an assumed free extension.
The old article suggested that a one-day extension could usually be obtained and that charges might double only after two days. The current rule is stricter. Treat your 24-hour allotment as the firm stay period unless TTD itself gives different written instructions for your booking.
The pilgrim named on the allotment should also vacate the room personally. TTD says transferring an allotted room to another person is prohibited, and the caution deposit can be affected when checkout rules are not followed.
If Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House is unavailable, do not wait for a private agent to “open” a room. Take the TTD room that is officially available, try the CRO current-booking route if eligible, or use TTD’s free Pilgrim Amenities Complexes when no room can be secured. Availability is never guaranteed.
This fallback is especially important on weekends, festival periods and school holidays. TTD said in May 2026 that Tirumala has about 7,800 accommodation rooms, so demand can exceed supply. Families therefore need a backup plan before reaching the hill.
Fallback 1: Accept another TTD rest house
For most pilgrims, this is the strongest option because the booking stays inside the official system. Properties may differ in location and tariff, yet the key priority is a valid TTD allotment. Do not cancel a confirmed room simply because the building name is not Sannidhanam.
Fallback 2: Use current booking at CRO
Current booking can help when advance quota is unavailable, but it remains subject to same-day inventory. Reach early because registration begins at 5:00 a.m. and continues only while rooms remain. A queue position does not guarantee allotment.
Fallback 3: Use a Pilgrim Amenities Complex
TTD operates Pilgrim Amenities Complexes with rest halls, lockers and bathing support for devotees who cannot secure rooms. PAC-1, PAC-2 and PAC-3 are among the facilities TTD described in its May 2026 accommodation update. These are useful for short rest and freshening up, but they are not private hotel rooms.
If your group needs a private overnight room regardless of Tirumala quota, consider a confirmed stay in Tirupati before travelling uphill. Our guide to private accommodation in Tirumala explains why private hotels are not the normal option inside the hill town and how to plan around that limitation.
Scam Warning Before You Pay for Any Room
Never send an advance to a personal phone number, WhatsApp account or private UPI ID for Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House. TTD has repeatedly warned that fraudsters copy temple images and TTD names to sell fake accommodation confirmations. A screenshot, chat message or unofficial PDF is not a valid TTD reservation.
- Use the official TTD portal for online accommodation.
- Use TTD counters and sub-enquiry offices for current booking.
- Check the domain carefully before entering login or payment details.
- Ignore claims that a middleman can guarantee a particular guest house.
- Do not share Aadhaar images with an unknown booking agent.
This warning is not theoretical. TTD published accommodation-fraud alerts in February, April, July and August 2026. The safest rule is simple: if the payment is not happening through a TTD-controlled channel, stop.
Practical Planning Tips That Save Time
Build your stay around the confirmed room, not around a preferred building name. That one change removes much of the stress around Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House. It also protects you from agents who exploit the desire to stay in a specific location.
Keep the booking mobile number active because current-booking allotment details arrive by SMS. Also carry a power bank, since a dead phone can make the final reporting step harder. Keep your Aadhaar and acknowledgement slip together until checkout.
Travel light if you expect to use a PAC as backup. Tirumala involves queues, security checks and transfers between facilities, so excess luggage quickly becomes a burden. Elderly pilgrims and people with medical conditions should keep essential medicines, water and mobility support close at hand.
Finally, do not time darshan too tightly against room checkout. TTD’s 24-hour rule means a delayed queue can create an accommodation problem. Leave enough buffer to return, collect luggage and vacate on time.
Before You Finalise Your Stay
Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House remains a real TTD property, but the reliable way to plan a stay is through TTD’s current accommodation system rather than old guest-house-specific claims. The biggest corrections are the unverified ₹6,000 tariff, the assumption of direct online selection by name, and the outdated extension advice.
Use the official portal for advance booking and CRO for current booking. If Sannidhanam is not offered, accept another official room or use the PAC backup options. Above all, never pay a private agent for a promised allotment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I select Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House by name online?
Not reliably from the current public information. TTD’s online accommodation system handles advance reservations, but its current public tariff list does not show Sannidhanam as a normal selectable property. If it appears inside your official TTD account for your date, follow that listing; otherwise, book the available official category.
Is the Tirumala Sannidhanam Guest House tariff ₹6,000?
Do not treat ₹6,000 as a verified current Sannidhanam tariff. TTD’s present public rest-house list shows ₹6,000 for Srinikethan A/C, not for Sannidhanam. The exact amount for any Sannidhanam allotment should come from the official TTD system or counter.
Where is Sannidhanam Guest House located in Tirumala?
TTD’s historical board records place the property in the HVC area of Tirumala. Because guest-house reporting points and traffic routes can change, use the location shown in your official allotment message rather than relying on an old map pin or third-party distance estimate.
Can I get Sannidhanam Guest House through a recommendation letter?
Older third-party pages describe recommendation-letter routes, but the current public TTD accommodation notices used for this refresh do not confirm a general recommendation process for Sannidhanam. Do not plan a trip around that method. Follow only instructions published by TTD for your booking or eligibility.
What documents are needed for a walk-in TTD room?
TTD’s July 2026 current-booking instructions require an original Aadhaar card or a photocopy and a mobile number at CRO registration. The process also uses face recognition. Carry the acknowledgement slip after registration because you may need it at a CRO kiosk or the sub-enquiry office.
How long is a TTD room allotted for?
TTD states that Tirumala rooms are allotted for 24 hours. Staying beyond that period can trigger sharply higher charges, so do not assume an automatic extension. Plan darshan and checkout with enough buffer to vacate on time.
What should I do if no room is available in Tirumala?
Try the official current-booking process at CRO if you are eligible, but remember that same-day rooms are subject to inventory. If rooms are exhausted, use TTD’s Pilgrim Amenities Complexes for rest, lockers and basic facilities. A confirmed Tirupati stay is another practical backup for families.
Is it safe to book through a WhatsApp number or agent?
No. TTD has issued repeated warnings about fake websites, WhatsApp accounts, social-media pages and middlemen collecting money for accommodation. Use only official TTD channels. Never send Aadhaar copies or room payments to an unknown personal account.
