During this time, Lord Ganesha is thought to bless the world and bring happiness, wisdom, and wealth to his followers.

What’s the point of Ganesh Chaturthi?

Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati spent many years living in Kailash. One day, Goddess Parvati wanted to take a bath, but no one was there to watch her. She made a boy-shaped idol out of turmeric and gave it life. She told her son to make sure no one else came into the house while she took a bath. Lord Shiva went back to his house, but the boy wouldn’t let him in. Lord Shiva got mad at the boy who wouldn’t give up, so he used his “Trishul” to cut off the boy’s head.

As soon as Parvati saw this, she got very angry and told him to bring the boy back to life. Lord Brahma said that the boy’s head should be switched with the head of any animal that slept with its head facing north. The boy’s head was finally replaced with that of a baby elephant, and he was given the name Ganpati or Ganesha. Ganesh Chaturthi is the day that Lord Ganesha was born, and it is a very important holiday.
