Tirumala TTD Pushpayagam:
The Pushpayagam event is held on the asterism of Sravanam, which also happens to be Lord Venkateswara’s birth star, following the yearly Brahmotsavam, typically in the month of Krittika according to the Hindu calendar, which falls during October or November.
Pushpayagam comes before Ankurarpanam. Sri Malayappa Swami, Sridevi, and Bhudevi are seated on a unique golden platform at Sampangi Mandapam on this particular day after the daily pujas.
The utsava murthis are worshiped after receiving Tirumanjanam by giving them a variety of flowers. In the evening, a procession is held. For this festival, only fragrant, fresh flowers should be used. The flowers that should be utilised for Pushpayagam are listed in the “Vimanarchana Kalpa”: Jaji, Champaka, Vakula, Padma, Dvikarni, Attasi, Ketaki, Mallika, Mandara, Karavira, etc. Flowers are offered to the Deities.

Celebration of Tirumala TTD Pushpayagam:
The Shravananakshatra festival, which falls on the first day of Kartikam, will be celebrated with a Pushpayaga mahotsavam at the Tirumala Srivari temple. Ankurarpan performed Pushpa Yaga on October 31. Due to Ankurarpanam, TTD cancels Sahasradeepalankarana service.
After the second bell, second archana, and offering are made in the temple on the day of Pushpayagam, Sridevi Bhudevi and the Sri Malayappaswamy utsava are welcomed to the Kalyana Mandapam in Sampangi Pradakshinam where Snapanathirumanjanam is performed. This includes performing a particular abhishek using milk, curd, honey, sandalwood, turmeric, and other ingredients. Pushpa yagam is performed from 1 to 5 pm using various flowers and leaves. The devotees in the four Mada streets of the temple are visited by Lord Srimalayappaswamy in the evening following the Sahasradeepalankarana ritual.
This forced TTD to postpone the Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, and Brahmotsavam festivities. Since the 15th century, this Pushpayaga mahotsava has been held with the goal of making the nation prosperous and green, according to inscriptions. According to history, flowers were once offered to the Lord on the seventh day of the flag-raising ceremony during Brahmotsavams. Following that, TTD reintroduced the Pushpayaga mahotsav on November 14, 1980, and it is now held annually on Shravana Nakshatra Parvadina in the month of Kartika.
