Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel was the first TTD devotional channel. It is the first 24-hour satellite Telugu devotional channel that shows Hindu devotional programmes and live broadcasts of poojas from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
On July 7, 2008, SVBC was started by Pratibha Patil, who was President of India at the time. Its main focus is on Hindu religious shows. It shows ceremonies that happen every day in Tirumala and Tirupathi. It also shows the Lord Sri Venkateshwara Brahmotsavam festival, which is held every year. TTD has made the decision to add more south Indian languages to the channel. Before, the channel used to show programmes in both Kannada and Tamil.

In 2009, 11 Nandi TV awards were given to the channel for its devotional shows. It is a free-to-air channel in India that can be watched on cable, dish, and IPTV. On the Internet, it is also shown live.
