On April 12, at nine in the morning, the Chilkur Balaji Temple would distribute Garuda Prasadam to the childless ladies who were present on the premises of the temple. The chief priest of the Chilkur Balaji Temple, CS Rangarajan, stated that the annual Brahmotsavams for the year 2023 at Chilkur would begin on April 12 and would continue for a total of seven days until coming to an end on April 18.
Beginning on the day of Ekadashi in the month of Chaitra, directly following Sri Rama Navami, the Brahmotsavam is celebrated over the course of seven days.
