Often done after Thomala Seva, this ritual takes around half an hour and is the third most common daily seva in Tirupathi. Pradhana archakas of the temple drone on about the one thousand different titles of Lord Venkateswara. Each day, over 200 spectators watch this ritual unfold. Each attendee will then get a chance to receive the primary god’s blessings.

Archana has several names, one of which is “Sahasranamarchana” (1008 glorious names of the Lord). In exchange for a daily donation of Rs.220, devotees are welcome to take part in this seva, which is conducted repeatedly throughout the day. Each pilgrim will get a blessing based on their own name and gotra. Archana is the practice of invoking the Lord by reciting His many names and imploring Him to bless all of mankind with success.
