The Sri Govindaraja Swami Temple is one of the prominent temples in Tirupati, and it can be found in the middle of the city. In the first iteration of the temple, Sri Parthasarathi served as the principal deity. Sri Ramanuja introduced the Sri Govindaraja deity around 1130 AD.
