The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) initiated the “Srivari Seva” volunteer service in the year 2000 with the intention of improving the quality of services offered to the pilgrims who come to Tirumala from all over the country and the world to have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
This was the primary motivation behind the establishment of the “Srivari Seva” program. More than a half dozen different businesses in Tirumala are dependent on Srivari Sevakulu. These businesses include some of the most important hubs for pilgrim interaction in the city, such as the temple, bus terminals, and stores offering holy literature and refreshments.

Each year, Tirumala is visited by millions of devotees in search of a glimpse of Lord Balaji. Every nation receives millions of visitors each year. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has initiated a program called “Srivari Seva” in order to accept the voluntary services of devotees and use such efforts to provide superior support to pilgrims who come from all across India. There have been a great number of acharyas who have catered to followers, including the well-known Tirumala nimbi, ramnjunacharya, and anathalvar.
Volunteers are needed for Srivari seva, which takes place at Tirumala near the RTC bus terminal. Those who are interested may sign up there. The computerized dip system is the only method that Srivari Sevaks use in order to be allotted to certain Temple obligations. There is no guarantee that each group will be tasked with doing temple duty. Any form of deviation from this policy will not be tolerated by us under any circumstances.
Those who have made arrangements to do Srivari seva at Tirupati must remain in the holy city for a minimum of three or four consecutive days in order to fulfill their obligations under the official message or order copy. Nobody should let them show up in Tirumala without giving prior notice. All of the Srivari Seva options, including Add, Delete, and Replace, are now unavailable for usage across the board with any of the Srivari Seva varieties.
