Ugadi Pachadi Recipe Telugu Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- Tamarind pulp – 5 tbsp
- Salt as needed
- Pepper powder as per taste
- Jaggery – 10 tbsp
- Neem Leaves – 5 sprigs of neem leaves and neem tree flowers
- Raw Mango – ½ cup chopped pieces.
Instructions:
- Soak Tamarind for 30 minutes to extract pulp. For faster extraction, soak tamarind in hot water.
- Add 2 cups of water to the tamarind extract.
- Then add peeled and chopped raw mango pieces,neem tree leaves.
- And then, add Jaggery, salt and sugar to the extract
- Stir until some of the ingredients are completely dissolved.
- Offer this as a part of the Naivedyam to the God and distribute as prasadam after the pooja to family, friends and relatives
Additionally, Some people may add coconut pieces, roasted chana dal, banana pieces, cashews and raisins as per one’s preference
