Vaikunta Ekadasi, also known as Mokshada Ekadasi (Ekadashi), is a special day for all Hindu followers around the world. The day is observed every year on the eleventh day of the lunar month of Shukla Paksha. In the month of Dhanu, this is considered the brightest phase of the lunar fortnight.
Pilgrims who attend the celebration receive Moksha and an everlasting blessing. Vaikunta is also known as a Vushnuloka or Vishnuloka. This day honors Vishnu, the Vaishnavite deity, and his goddess Lakshmi. Vaikunta is a Sri Vishnu location that is said to be above the seven heavens. Tirumala celebrates Vaikunta Ekadasi in great style. On Mukkoti Ekadasi, about a lakh devotees seek Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy’s blessings. The main entrance to the temple will be closed on Dasami night, a day before Vaikunta Ekadasi, following Ekanta seva. On Ekadashi morning, the Mukkoti Pradakshina Margam (Vaikunta Dwaram) will remain open until the Lord’s Ekanta seva on Vaikunta Dwadasi.

- 2023 Vaikunta Ekadasi The date is January 2, 2023.
- Vaikunta Dwaram will open on January 2, 2023 at 3:00 a.m. (approx.)
- Darshan Ticket Price: Rs.10,000 (SRIVARI Trust Donation) plus Rs 1,000 (Ticket) or Rs 300 (Special Entry Darshan)
- Darshan of Vaikunta Dwaram 3:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Vaikunta Dwaram will be open from January 2nd to January 11th, 2023.
Activities for the day of Vaikunta Ekadasi:
- Devotees are required to fast and recite hymns and mantras in order to worship Lord Vishnu.
- They must also perform Puja; on this day, pilgrims send lovely quotes and wishes to friends, relatives, and loved ones.
- To inherit immense blessings and riches, devout devotees should participate in all Vaikunta Ekadasi ceremonies.
- It is worth noting that Vishnu only opens his gates once a year on Vaikunta Ekadasi.
- This signifies that Vaikunta Ekadasi is the most important of the 24 Ekadasi.
- The next day after the celebration, Parana is held.
- Devotees must do the Parana during the Dwadashi Tithi. Devotees, however, are exempt if the Vaikunta Dwadashi is completed before sunrise.
