• Winters in Tirupati are mild and suitable for temple trips from November to February. The minimum temperature seldom falls below 15°C, making the weather temperate. Light woolens may be required to keep you warm at night.
• Summers in Tirupati are hot and humid from March through June. The maximum temperature may reach 42°C to 45°C, mainly in April and May. Because many guests avoid visiting at this season, it is less busy.
• July to October: The monsoon season begins in Tirupati around July, and the temperature begins to fall, making it more comfortable. Tirupati is experiencing light rain, making it an ideal time to visit the temple town. The Brahmotsavam, one of the region’s largest festivals, takes place in September.

Before visiting Tirumala, keep the following in mind:

• To get darshan, pilgrims must provide evidence of vaccination (two doses) or a covid-19 negative certificate received within 72 hours of the day of darshan.
• While visiting the temple, you must wash your hands often, keep your distance from other people, and wear a mask.
