T.T.Devasthanams launched the Venkateswara Nitya Annadanam Endowment Scheme on 6-4-1985, with the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of A.P. Sri Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao garu giving free meals to 2,000 pilgrims each day at Tirumala.

With effect from 1-4-1994, the plan was turned into an independent trust known as “SRI VENKATESWARA NITHYA ANNADANAM TRUST.”

The Trust is chaired by the Executive Officer, T.T.D. With effect from April 1, 2014, the Trust’s name has been changed to “SRI VENKATESWARA ANNAPRASADAM TRUST.”

This trust is supported by contributions from devotees and donors all across the globe. The trust placed all contributions in nationalised banks, and the income earned is used to cover the trust’s expenses.

Food prepared in S.V.Nitya Anna daana trust:

Every day, 10,000 litres of milk are purchased and served in V.Q.C.-I and II for waiting pilgrims in compartments, as well as in the Divya Darshan Complex, Sarvadaman Complex, Rs.300/- Special Entry Complex, and Kalyana Katha Complex Tirumala.

Beverages and food will be supplied to pilgrims who are waiting in compartments in V.Q.C I and II every 3 hours.

Every day, 10 to 12 tonnes of rice are used at Tirumala, while 1.75 tonnes of rice are utilised in Tirupati.

All Annaprasadam Canteens in Tirumala utilise between 6.5 and 7.5 tonnes of vegetables. All vegetables are accepted on a contribution basis.

Donations for S.V.Nitya Anna daana trust:

The minimum donation for the programme is Rs. 1,000/- Donations less than Rs. 1000/- would be credited to Srivari Hundi’s account without notification to the donor. All contributions are placed in a Nationalised Bank, and the income gained is used to fund the plan.

As can be seen, the S.V.Annaprasadam Trust per day expenditure is Rs. 30.00 Lakh, which can be split into the following 04 sections.

1) For the whole day: Rs. 30.00 Lakh

2) Rs. 7.00 Lakh for Breakfast

3) For Lunch: Rs. 11.50 Lakh

4) For Dinner: Rs. 11.50 Lakh

TTD Tirumala Annadanam Trust Online Donation Advantages:

“Individuals, businesses, and corporations, among others, may make contributions, and they are eligible for an income tax deduction under Section 80(G) of the Indian Income Tax Act, and donor pass books.”

The benefits would be provided on a par with the Rs.10 Lakh to less than Rs.1 Crore donor. In addition, the following additional benefits will be given.

  • The name of the donor will be placed at MTVAC, Tirumala.
  • The donor will be allowed to serve at MTVAC in Tirumala on one day of his choosing.
