According to the sources, the Department of Post has made the decision to make the service available at all 2348 of the state’s post offices in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Tirumala Shrine Department (TTD), in collaboration with India Post, has introduced a new facility via which devotees can purchase Rs 300 Online Special Darshan tickets to enter the holy temple. On January 5, 2015, the programme was presented to the public in an official capacity.

On January 5, 2015, the TTD Executive Officer, Dr. Sambasiva Rao, introduced this service in the Tirupati Head Post office.

This service is now available in 95 different Head Post Offices and 2 different Sub Post Offices throughout the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
