What are the prerequisites for booking accommodation in Tirumala?

• To meet the growing demand for homes on Tirumala hill, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board made a number of changes.
• No one can book a room on their own, and at least two people need to stay in a single room.
• To stop people from squatting, TTD won’t let anyone rent a room at Tirumala who doesn’t have a valid darshan ticket.
• If a pilgrim can’t show the right kind of ID at check-in or arrives after the official check-in time, TTD staff may cancel the reservation.
• The rooms are only available for 24 hours, and no one is ever allowed to stay longer than that.
• For darshan, all pilgrims and visitors must bring proper identification to Tirumala. If they don’t, the TTD will turn them away.
