Guruvayur Temple is a Hindu temple in the town of Guruvayur in the Indian state of Kerala. It is dedicated to Guruvayurappan, a form of Vishnu. It is one of the most important places of worship for Hindus in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and is often called Bhuloka Vaikunta.
Choroonu/Annaprashan in the Temple of Guruvayur:
This is the first time a child has given rice in front of Lord Guruvayurappa. All of the food, like cooked rice, payasam (a sweet dish made from rice, jaggery, sugar, and milk), plantains, etc., is put on a banana leaf, and the kids eat all of it.
This service will take place at Choroon Hall (located at first floor of old Ticket Counter building). Before going into the chorun Hall, get a ticket for choroon at the ticket counter for Rs. 100. If you want to take photos at a choroonu function, you can buy a ticket for Rs. 100 for five photos. After the Choronu Ceremony, the father, mother, and child can use this ticket to get into the temple (Nalambalam) without having to wait in line. For this service, you can’t book it online.

Guruvayur Choroonu Timings:
This service is given every day from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. and in the evening. On Ekadasi and every Vavu Night, the kids’ choroonu will not be held. On Guruvayur Ekadasi Day, the choroonu will not be held (Entire day).
Guruvayoor Temple:
Guruvayur Devaswom runs the temple, and the Government of Kerala is in charge of it. Shri Krishna, who is worshipped as Guruvayurappan, the god of the famous Shri Krishna Temple in Guruvayur Town in the state of Kerala, is honoured at the temple. Malayalis and Tamilians respect this temple the most.

There is no option to book Guruvayoor Temple Choroonu tickets online. For an event on the same day, the ticket can only be bought at the counter.
