In the Eluru district of the Andhra Pradesh state in India, more especially in the town of Dwaraka Tirumala, there is a Vaishnavite temple that is devoted to Lord Venkateswara. This temple is located in the town of Tirumala. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a manifestation of the god Vishnu, and devotion is performed there. There are a few other names for the temple, one of which being Chinna Tirupati.
As the self-manifested idol of Lord Sri Venkateswara was found by Dwaraka after lengthy penance in a ‘Valmikam,’ the name “Dwaraka Tirumala” was conferred upon this holy spot in his honor in recognition of the fact that he was the one who found it (ant hill). As Kali Yuga Vaikunta Vasa, Sri Venkateswara is a deity that his devotees honor and venerate.

The Sastras teach that rivers in the north, like the Ganges and the Yamuna, gain sanctity as they approach their sources, while rivers in the south, like the Krishna and the Godavary, get sanctity as they flow into the ocean. Therefore, the lower regions of the great and gorgeous rivers Krishna and Godavary are dotted with a large number of holy bathing ghats and temples.
Brahma Purana claims that our Dwaraka Tirumala is situated in the most central and commanding part of all of India. Due to its location between the Krishna and Godavary rivers, two of India’s most important waterways.
Seeing two principal deities housed in a single Vimana Sikharam is a sight to see. One idol is the same as a fully-realized statue. As for the other, it’s a statue of the Lord’s head and shoulders that’s been left unfinished. In the upper part of the form, near the Sage called “Dwaraka,” is a self-manifested idol. Historically, devout believers considered their prayers incomplete without also worshipping the Lord’s holy feet. To worship the Lord’s feet as prescribed by the Vaikhanasa Agamam, the holy people gathered together and constructed a full statue behind the self-manifested idol.
Many people believe that praying to the smaller statue of the Lord would help them achieve Moksha, while praying to the greater form of the Lord will help them achieve Dharma, Artha, and Kama. Twice a year, the Tiru kalyanotsavam is celebrated. They occurred in the months of “Vaisakha” and “Asvijaa,” respectively, for the spontaneously materialising idol and the built idol.
All the Glory of the Sanctum Sanctorum:
Walking inside the holiest area of the structure, the sanctum sanctorum, is a spiritually elevating and hypnotically mesmerising experience. It is stated that the rest of the mythical Lord Venkateswara, who is believed to rule the region, is buried under the earth, leaving just his breast visible. As part of the daily devotion offered for him, locals of Patala believe that Bali Chakravarthi gets the holy feet. The life-size statue of Lord Sri Venkateswara that can be seen behind the main idol is traditionally attributed to the 11th-century social reformer Srimad Ramanuja. The Padmavathi and Nanchari statues are maintained in the Arthamandapa and are set up so that they face east. This temple has all a Divyasthala needs, and more.
Following is the combination of Shiva and Vishnu on Adisesha:
The most unique thing about this place is that the hill looks like a snake when seen from above. This lends credence to the fabled account of how Anantha, king of the serpents, transformed himself into a terrestrial serpent while toting God Mallikarjuna on his hood and Lord Venkateswara on his tail. As a consequence, Vaishnavism and Saivism may coexist in peace and harmony in one place.
