Under the Act 30 of 1987, TTD is a group of temples that are on the First Schedule 2 of the Act. The government picks the people who are on the Board of Trustees.

Tirumala JEO Office Importance:

In Tirumala, the TTD Officials and the JEO of Tirumala work together in the JEO Office to run the day-to-day operations of Tirumala and Tirupati as well as the TTD. Pilgrims are not allowed to go to the JEO office for any questions or problems. Pilgrims have to go to the right places in Tirumala if they have any questions, complaints, or other problems.

For some types of Darshan, like VIP Darshan or those who deal with VIP issues, JEO Office is very important. For all of these types of Darshan, the JEO office will be in charge of giving out and managing Darshan.

When is the Tirumala JEO Camp Office open?

The only time the JEO office in Tirumala is open is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pilgrims can only call the JEO Office between these times if they have questions or need help. Aside from these hours, the JEO office will work extra hours and will be open on holidays and special occasions as needed.

Directions to the Tirumala JEO Camp Office:

The JEO office is near the MBC Road and right next to the Srivari Mettu Route Mandapam and centre for picking up luggage. Only people who can take a free bus should get off near the Srivari Mettu Luggage pickup centre.
