Chaitra Navratri in 2023
On the first day of the Hindu Luni-Solar calendar, which falls in March or April, the nine-day festival of Chaitra Navratri begins. This Navratri is additionally referred to as Chaitra Navratri since Chaitra is the first month on the Hindu lunar calendar. Chaitra Navratri is also known as Vasanta Navratri.
