TTD issues around 200 VIP break darshan tickets a day at the SRIVANI counter inside Tirupati (Renigunta) Airport arrivals. This channel serves flight passengers only, since the counter asks for your boarding pass and photo ID.
You pay the ₹10,500 there, and the ticket is usually for the same evening. Reporting is at Vaikuntam Queue Complex-I by about 4:30 PM. Tickets run out on busy mornings, so treat this as a genuine option rather than a guarantee.

TTD suspends VIP break darshan whenever a major ritual or festival fills the temple. On 8 July 2026 the administration published the current list of cancellations running up to 30 September 2026.

- The 9 AM release sells out instantly. Try again the next morning, or watch for the monthly advance quota release roughly three months ahead.
- Payment fails at the last step. Weak hotel or mobile networks are a common culprit, so use a stable connection and keep one payment method ready.
- Your date falls on a cancelled day. Shift the visit rather than travelling in hope, because VIP break darshan simply does not run then.
- You donated but no slot appears. Donations made on or after 1 May 2025 fall inside the reserved donor quota, released at 9 AM daily.

Reporting happens at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex, and the slot printed on your ticket is the one that counts. Same-day donor-quota bookings currently report for a 4 PM VIP break darshan. Plan for one and a half to two hours inside the queue complex. Older guides that promise darshan in ten minutes describe an era that no longer exists at Tirumala.
The dress code is enforced strictly. Men wear a dhoti with an upper cloth, or kurta and pyjama. Women wear a saree, or a salwar kameez with dupatta. Jeans, shorts and T-shirts are refused at the entry point regardless of age.
A word on physical demand: the queue involves prolonged standing, stairs and long walkways. If you are elderly, pregnant, diabetic or managing a heart condition, carry water, medication and a snack. Consult your doctor before a strenuous temple day or a fast.
How to Spot the Real TTD Portal
Fake booking sites are the biggest avoidable risk around VIP break darshan tickets. They copy TTD’s logo and rank on paid search. Then they collect ₹12,000 or more and hand back a worthless printout.
Three checks protect you. First, the genuine portals sit on government domains — tirumala.org, ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in and tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in. Second, TTD never charges a “processing fee” or “agent commission” above the published amount. Third, no legitimate channel asks you to pay a private UPI ID or a personal phone number.

How to Reach Tirumala
By air
Tirupati Airport at Renigunta is the nearest airport, roughly 40 km from Tirumala. Taxis and APSRTC buses run from there. The SRIVANI counter in the arrivals terminal is why many devotees now fly in.
By train
Tirupati Railway Station is the main railhead, with direct services from Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Delhi. Buses and taxis cover the 22 km ghat climb to Tirumala from the bus stand next door.
By road
APSRTC operates frequent buses from Tirupati to Tirumala through the day. The ghat road opens out over the Eastern Ghats, so the climb is part of the pilgrimage. Free TTD buses also connect points within Tirumala once you arrive.
