The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have a special darshan for older people. Every day, millions of people come to Tirumala to see Sri Lord Venkateswara, who is known as the Kaliyuga pratyaksha daiva. For the sake of pilgrims, TTD offers Sr Citizen Darshan to people who are 65 years old or older. Tickets can be bought at Vaikuntam queue complex 2.

With this system, people who can’t walk far don’t have to wait in long lines, and there’s no need to rush to get tickets. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will give disabled and elderly people darshan tickets once a month. As a result of the Covid pandemic, the TTD has already stopped its darshan programmes for seniors and people with disabilities.

Booking Procedure Instructions for Seniors and People with Disabilities:

  • As proof of identity, the devotee must show their Aadhaar card.
  • If the husband is over 65, the wife may be able to get darshan.
  • Anyone who helps someone and is over the age of 80 can get darshan.
  • Darshan can only happen once every 90 days.
  • During darshan, you can’t use any kind of electronic device.
  • Grandchildren under 12 can travel with their grandparents without a ticket.
  • Reservations can’t be moved forward or backward or cancelled.
  • If pilgrims are late, they might only be able to see the Lord in the Sarva darshan.
  • Pilgrims can’t wear shoes into the waiting lines, the mada streets, or the temple itself.
  • TTD lets the cancellation of darshan happen in some situations.

TTD Tirumala Senior Citizen Darshan Online Reservation Procedure:

  1. Senior Citizen Darshan can be booked online through the official TTD website.
  2. The average wait time in the virtual line is between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on how many tickets are left and how many people want to sign up.
  3. Enter your mobile phone number and the captcha code. After the waiting time is up, click “Generate OTP.”
  4. You’ll get an OTP on your mobile device. Enter the 6-digit OTP, and then click “Login.”
  5. To enter the temple, you must agree to the Covid-19 rules by clicking “Agree” on the Covid-19 Declaration Form.
  6. Select Senior Citizen quota.
  7. You will see a calendar that lets you choose the dates for your darshan.
  8. A green colour means that there are seats available, while a yellow colour means that seats will soon be taken. Blue means that no tickets have been given out yet, and red means that the daily limit for darshan has been reached.
  9. Type in the information asked for.
  10. Before clicking “Continue” on the next page, you must enter information about the pilgrim, such as their name, gender, age, photo ID, ID card number, etc.
  11. The TTD Online Senior Citizen Darshan ticket you chose will be held for you.

For darshan, you’ll need:

  • Pilgrims must show proof of vaccination (two doses) or a covid-19 negative certificate received no more than 72 hours before the day of darshan in order to get darshan.
  • The TTD darshan ticket that was bought cannot be given to someone else or refunded.
  • When you go to the temple, you have to wear a mask, keep your distance from other people, and sometimes wash your hands.
